Community Engagement & Data Specialist
Full time (32 hours/week) remote position
Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000 (depending on qualifications/experience)

The CCAA Community Engagement and Data (CED) Specialist is responsible for coordinating and implementing outreach efforts for CCAA programs across the state of Colorado. Outreach efforts will require regular in-state travel. They will be responsible for public communications and should be familiar with information technology, website design, social media, and shall be a strong interpersonal communicator. The CED Specialist will be team and results oriented, with a commitment to accountability through strong performance management and data analysis skills, and will have to be committed, motivated, and disciplined to manage their own schedule and deliverables. This position works with the Associate Director who ensures that position’s work is consistent and aligns with the overall organization strategy.
The CED Specialist may also represents the CCAA and the CO CSBG network in state, regional, and national organizations in a liaison capacity as appropriate. The CED Specialist will assist with implementing board approved strategies and programs with guidance and direction from the CCAA Deputy Director and Executive Director.
The CED Specialist is responsible for collaborating with team members in brainstorming and problem solving. This position will also support data driven outcomes through program statistical and data analysis.
This position promotes the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, Child Tax Credit (CTC), the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), and other CCAA programs serving Colorado families with low-income through supporting media relations, outreach campaigns, application assistance, and special events across the state. This position will work directly with Colorado families to not only bring awareness of programs but also assist with enrollment. The CED Specialist may also work with Colorado families to share their stories through awareness videos as well as online narratives.
The CED Specialist will write and update messaging and content for various audiences, for a variety of purposes including but not limited to newsletters, brochures, websites, and social media.
