Results Oriented Management and Accountability Training |
Results Oriented Management and Accountability, or ROMA, is a performance-based management system. Using outcomes as its foundation, ROMA’s aims are continuous program improvement and accountability. Community Action is about identifying and addressing causes and conditions. ROMA helps us measure progress towards this. Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation (aka the ROMA Cycle) are at the core of ROMA.
ROMA Trainings can be conducted via in-person full day trainings or virtually through a three part series of 3-hour webinars. All local COVID protocols will be followed for in-person trainings. |
Theory of Change
A Theory of Change (TOC) in practice is the next step for agencies that have ROMA-trained staff and are ready for integrating ROMA practices and principles across their agency.
A clearly stated Local Theory of Change communicates an agency's approach to poverty and how it uses resources and partnerships to enable economic security for families it serves.
We are recruiting agencies from all six Region 8 states to bring together a wide range of wisdom and experiences. We strongly encourage you send several people from your agency (staff, board members, volunteers, and any partners can participate). This opportunity is open to all Community Action Agencies and CSBG partner agencies (subgrantees) are invited.
Cohorts will meet for four times on either Tuesday or Thursday mornings and will meet twice as a combined group for a total of six sessions. Participants may choose to share their Theory of Change at the Region VIII Conference on Poverty July 20-22, 2022 in Breckenridge, CO.
